Organ Theory

Three organs, one diagnosis

Why the Simple Organ Theory reduces a long list of symptoms to a single governing organ — and how that changes treatment.

Three organs, one diagnosis

A patient rarely arrives with one complaint. There is the acidity, and also the poor sleep, and also the joint stiffness, and also the low mood. Treated one by one, each gets its own remedy and the list only grows.

The Simple Organ Theory asks a different question first: which organ is running the case? Brain, heart or liver. Once that is settled, the scattered symptoms usually line up behind a single temperament, and a single correction addresses them together.

This is why our prescriptions are short. When the governing organ is correctly identified, you do not need six medicines — you need the right food and one or two well-chosen herbs, given long enough to work.
